GET ORGANIZED!

PLAN FOR SCHOOL SUCCESS!

Start getting organized today and in a couple of weeks it will become a habit.

1. Find a quiet consistent spot for doing homework and for storing backpacks and supplies
2. Before you start homework each day check your backpack
3. Use your student planner and check it everyday
4. Check your class and specials homework pages on the web
5. Plan for homework: use your homework planner; have a regular homework time and place; use a time line
6. Plan for long-term projects: start early; write due dates in your planner-highlight them or write in red; a list of all the things you need for your project; rank order the steps you need to take to complete project; write down tasks in your planner; stick with your plan; don’t procrastinate-give yourself more time that you think you’ll need
